Tim,

Using PWR SDR 1.18.0, 5KA, and Apple iMAC w/XP PRO - nothing I would describe as a whine or anything unusual for that matter. Checked with and w/o headphones, on antenna and on dummy load. Just the usual trash (40 kHz spacing) from the switching power supply when connected to the antenna.

Hi,
I just noticed today on all versions of SDR that on 30 meters (the only
band I've noticed it so far) , there is a distinct low level whine
between the frequencies of 10.109.769 and 10.102.139. Tuning through
those freq's the whine will start and stop, however it remains when SDR
is stopped, when SDR is closed and only stops when the radio is
physically shut off, or when loading a new instance of SDR, it will stop
during the loading process before the GUI actually comes up. I can
clearly hear it in the headphones, but not sure about the speaker
output, I can't verify that. Anyone run across this one.... ??
