PowerSDR V1.18.1
Flex 5000 (1.3.0.6)
Vista X64 Service Pack 1
.NET 3.5 SP1
I often leave PowerSDR running for extended periods of time in
monitoring mode (WSPR for example) - after 8-10 hours I get the
following symptoms:
- PowerSDR window controls appear with big red X across them
- I get an error message dialog titled ".NET 3.5 error" and the
message "The handle is invalid"
The dialog box offers the options to quit or continue. If you attempt
to continue, PowerSDR is completely unresponsive and audio stops.
Selecting Quit makes PowerSDR exit. Restarting PowerSDR and selecting
Start gets the radio going again.
I've seen this multiple times now - it takes hours to "reproduce" so its
not easy to trouble shoot. I captured the .NET traceback and attached
it to bug 2349 which I filed in the Flex bug tracker.
I've searched support.microsoft.com to see if there were any hot fixes
or KB references there but no joy.
Has anyone else seen this and successfully fixed?
