I want to thank all that check in (and those that listened) on 40
meters tonight for the First Flex 40 meter Net.
Band conditions as many know was not very good due to the storms moving
through the center of the country, so I am sorry if we missed your
check in.. But all in all , we did have a great turn out on 7188 at 7
PM Central. We did have a total of 58 check-ins.. Pretty good for
spur of the moment.. :-) Lots of help from Dave , W9AD, Jim ,
AB2CD, and Mario, N2MZZ. Next time I will have CQ100 on 7188 too. I
did not record the net, but it was too noisy and we didn't push any
info or handle traffic, but at least made contact there on 40..
How about next week? Had one request to move to 7187, kind of between
nets, but usually not a problem with the Flex.. Maybe next week I can
spend more time on 40 ..
