Click the Bypass (BYP) button and the internal tuner in the FLEX-3000 is no
longer in the RF signal path.

Subject: [Flexradio] 3000 tuner

I read several posts about using a external tuner with the 3000. The one thing
I fail to see is how do you turn off the internal tuner in the 3000. The posts
say they set up power sdr to give a 5-10 watt carrier when they hit the tune
button,I agree with that ,but also when you hit the tune button won't the
3000's internal tuner also start a tunning cycle?? two tuners in series dosent
sound like a good thing to do. Can some one explaine ,if my thinking is off on
this.

thanks
