The Flex Loader is for keeping a good local repository of the different firmware versions, and to help assist in loading the firmwares, a firmware management tool.. All the current drivers and PowerSDR versions are located on the Flex Home page, on the left hand side..

But you should install the Flex Radio driver (FireWire driver for the radio), connect the radio, power up the radio, verify that the Flex Radio Driver is communicating with the radio, then install and run PowerSDR.. Try to install the Driver, "Run as Administrator" this helps if UAC (User Access Control) is left on in Vista or Win7..
