Jim, I had the same problem until I swithed to the Eltima virtual drivers. Since then I've had zero problems with any of the virtual serial ports. I'm also using Vista X64.
You can download the trial version of the Eltima drivers from their web site - fully functional for 14 days. Worth the money IMO. 73 Stu K6TU -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Jim Sent: Sunday, September 06, 2009 5:19 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Flexradio] Ham Radio Deluxe loses connection with PowerSDR I'm running HRD and PowerSDR on a Dell Inspiron 530 with 8GB of RAM and Vista 64 bit. I'm using com0com for the virtual com port connections and I have emulate baud rate and enable buffer overrun selected. The baud rate in PowerSDR for the com ports is set to 57600 If I Launch HRD it works just fine but then after a few minutes the connection is lost and an error pops up that says "The connection with TS-2000 on COM6 has stopped working". Where do you think the problem lies? Is it an HRD defect, a PowerSDR defect, a Com0Com defect, or? Thanks very much Jim WD7W _______________________________________________ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List [email protected] http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flex-radio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flex-radio.com/ Message delivered to [email protected] _______________________________________________ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List [email protected] http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flex-radio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flex-radio.com/ Message delivered to [email protected]
