What are you going to use for the firewire?
I got real lucky in that my laptop (Sony) has a TI firewire chipset.
I was thinking of getting a used laptop for flex only use, but the best one
they had has a known problem chipset, people could not seem to get it to
work on any product...
I have vista32, 2gig, 1.6 GHz duo core, and can surf the web, do email and
run the flex without problems...
Delay in the monitor is a problem though...
