Anthony,
NR will tend to do that, part of the function of all the filtering,
adjusting the taps and delay can help, but you are destroying the
purpose of the noise reduction. Many Flex users find that just
reducing the AGC-T gain is much better than using the NR and then the
two adjustable noise blankers (NB1 and NB2) for other peskie spike
noises, but band noise can usually be reduced greatly by reducing the
AGC-T gain..

The NR goes through a short training process, even with each change
that you make to the settings in the DSP => Options tab.. The overall
effect is dependent on the bandwidth of the receiver passband. Try
this, lower the number of "Taps", (I've got mine right now to 39) ,
then drop the "Delay" (try 30) , and adjust the "Gain" (mine at 17)
but you can adjust them where you like, but try dropping the Delay
first, this will decrease the time before the changes take over. Then
adjust to match your conditions and taste..
