About 4 years ago, Tentec had always used UPS for all their shipping. They changed to Fedex because it was a little cheaper. After 6 months, they found the breakage rate for Fedex was much higher than UPS and not worth the shipping savings. So they changed back to UPS. I think this is very meaningful because Tentec ships a lot.

All shipping companies will have some breakage. It is the rate of breakage that needs to be compared. I personally have shipped about 50 items by UPS in the last 10 years and have had absolutely no problems.

Subject: [Flexradio] What is the best/safest way to ship my Flex back toAustin for repairs?

I hear all kinds of UPS Ground horror stories. And I have seen some bad
stuff myself. Should I go for FedEX Air? It ain't cheap, but neither is my
beloved F3K!
