Paul,

Do a database reset from the setup form. It that does not do the trick, then
contact Dudley at FlexRadio Support (supp...@flex-radio.com) so he can triage
the problem.

Subject: [Flexradio] TX problem

Hi all,
must say this love my flex 5000a, best receiver I have ever owned.
1st week into owning it and showing it to fellow hams'

Went to do some digital tonight, problem shows up, no TX, atu would not work,
picked am drive at 10, no output???
then opened up ATU in top bar, Tuner feedback stated in red Tune Failed:
no RF detected.

When into the setup in general, it showed the model and serial number, TRX; PA;
RFIO; ATU; RX2; no numbers all in red?

head scratching.

closed down PwrSDR 1.18.3, started up older version, the one I used to learn in
demo mode 1.18.0, during this time have cycled the power on PC and shutdown the
radio unplugged it from PSU.

Plug radio into PSU, firewire, reboot PC, start PwrSDR 1.18.0 heaps of errors
on restarting of this, did write some down.

RX1 Image gain checksum verification error DB: AD EEPROM 8F Calculated :AD was
some more then the TX image gain checksum fail

then RX2 started with fail?

I choose to just push thru the errors.

still no working

ran 1.18.3

it booted up very quickly, to quick, no tx still, did a reset database.

rebooted the complete show again.

went thru the eeprom back up , no problems.

started the radio, on WWV 10 mhz could hear that no problems.

dialed up 7.040 hit ATU, nothing.

more head scratching, by now just starting to get upset. a little.

not happy with whats going on, decided to go to AM drive set to 10 standard
setup, this time hit TUN all of a sudden have drive ??? works said.

Now ever time ON turn on the hardware first, wait normally a click from radio,
sit down, find mouse, open PwrSDR, then start. It is the same every time I use
the radio.

Radio is fed power from batteries that are solar charged, with a 65amp 13.8v
Switch mode for those times the batteries get down.

I really do not know why it stopped?

Any ideas??

Cheers Paul
