I won't bore you with the long story so here's the short. I had a F5K with
RX2 and had to sell it. Big regrets (monumental, actually) so have come
round and bought another.
In my time away from Flex (about 6 months) the DB has moved from Access to
XML. In the Access DB I edited the "band text" to amend it for the UK band
plan, frequencies and text. This worked like a charm, and was really nice on
4m.
Now in XML I've found the text again but before I start what looks even more
laborious than the Access version, is there a "UK Spec'" DB or any 3rd party
editors dedicated to the Flex XML DB?? I have xml editors coming out of my
ears so it is something specific to Flex I am looking for. I note that
although purchased from a UK retailer, the radio comes out of the box with a
US band plan. Was this an oversight by the retailer, or Flex?
