Thanks Neal,

I already have each piece of equipment with its own ground cable going back to
a central 'neutral bar' which goes to my earth stake with extremly overkill
copper cable.
Each earth strap to each piece of equipment is just flattened out RG213 braid -
cheap and works great..

I do not daisy chain any earths

Ferrite every cable touching the PC, make sure that you have a single ground
point and everything is grounded to that (avoid group loops which are the worst
to track down, for example, you ground the radio, then the shield of an audio
cable grounds the computer to the radio and the computer has a serial
connection to a rotor box which grounds the computer to the rotor and the rotor
is grounded to the radio)

I have Ferrite chokes on the firewire cable (3 actually).. I might try
putting a couple of chokes on EVERY cable that goes into the PC..
Not sure what else to try as I have that many chokes on the feedline I
"doubt" its that..

RF is getting into the computer or FireWire cable somewhere and stopping
the TX thread.. I bet it won't do it into a dummy load..

      Hi Guys,

      Having a weird problem - (Flex 3000, Windows 7 x64 - Firewire driver and
software up to date from flex website)
When using Digimodes, I get halfway though a QSO on PSK - then all of a
sudden I notice ive stopped transmitting any power..
(50watts normally, but I look over and 0watts output).. I close PowerSDR
and retry, no change. I close PowerSDR AND switch radio off for a sec then back
on, and its back to normal until it happens again..

I have low SWR (less than 1:5:1) and only running 50Watts..

      Very Very annoying..
