Phil Theis (K3TUF) produced a relay board that worked with the earlier SDR-1000 to provide programmed relays, switched from PowerSDR as you change bands. He called it the UCB.

He announced that he would make an interface for it to allow it to work with the 5000, but nothing has come of this as far as I know.

Just to let you know how close this problem is with out an antenna the received signal is

1.395
NO antenna ie receiver set to N/C pilot tone is -62 dBm or 10 +
Long wire running 90 degrees to transmitter  P/T is -5dBm
Vert antenna base is 10 meters fro ground    P/T is +2-5 dBm

and the transmitter has two transmissions this one is the lower power one

the other 1.539 is stronger again basically add 2-5 dBm more, and the poor front end over loads,


Is there a way of front end attenuation.

Surprising as it is I do not feel like packing up camp and moving, maybe I should just wait out and pray that all broadcast transmissions of digital, and well away from used ham bands in Australia.

Currently ACMA (same as FCC) are pushing people to DAB+ on 205 mHz.

Any ideas, I have though of pull supply fuses (lol).
