Apologies for the original post, the reflector made a mess of it. Here is a plain text version that hopefully will be better.
Steve ------------------------------------------------- In this release: - Added SO2V support (SO2R tab) [requires PSDR 1.19.4 or later] Big News for the contesters. You can now use your Flex-5000, when equipped with a 2nd receiver, as SO2V (single op 2 VFOs) in the contests. Thanks to Lee Crocker (W9OY) who offered the encouragement and defined the functions and controls to make this work. Oh, and did I mention a large amount of tolerance on his part. This new feature allows a huge amount of control of the radio, amplifier(s) and antenna selections. Here is a few of the features: The following settings will be automatically selected based on band used. Control two (2) separate 1 of 10 antenna arrays one for each VFO/Amplifier using parallel ports. Depending on the decoder used the number of antennas can be as many as sixteen (16) per decoder. Band switch up to two amplifiers via BCD data output to the parallel port(s). Selects the proper PSDR drive setting for each amplifier by band. Selects both receive (Rx 1/2) and transmit antenna ports on the radio for each VFO by band. Selects PTT via TX control lines based on VFO selection by band. Select transmit VFO via PSDR console OR external switch connected to a designated serial port. Rx2 is automatically started when SO2R is enabled. N1MM and DXLab contest/logging programs directly supported. * As an extra tidbit there will be a new Tuning Knob available soon that will solve the focus problems when using N1MM and will also give operators a new freedom and method of tuning the radio. The prototype hardware is working well and DDUtil integration is underway. Please read the documentation thoroughly as this can be a confusing feature till understood. http://k5fr.com/ddutilwiki/index.php?title=SO2R - Added code to switch off VHF+ ports if a HF band selected (tnx Ken N0GZ). - Deleted device name from BCD tab and revised text box in Data Signals group (Ports tab). - Repaired code that crashed the program when freq. dropped below 1.00 MHz (tnx Harry W0LS).
