I have seen occasional mention of this problem on here and have seen it myself
many times. The
"Switch Relay" boxes in the Antenna pull down menu seem to come unchecked on
their own with
the normal consequence the amplifier will not key. This happened to me enough
that I almost
automatically reached for the mouse when the amp would not key.

I believe I found the cause of this. I had become convinced it had something
to do with starting things
up and it turns out it does. I am running DDUtil which has an Amps control
page. One of the things on this
page is an Amp Stby/Operate button which among other things manages the switch
relay check boxes. This
operates in conjunction with Amp Bands check boxes which are on the Setup page.
 When no amps are checked
the Stby/Operate button defaults to Stby AND forces the check boxes to all off.
As part of its startup process
DDUtil appears to check for this condition and sends the commands to uncheck
the Switch Relay boxes. I have
ran this several times and it does it every time.

The solution is simple, set up DDUtil for the bands you want and put DDUtil
into "Oper" on the amps page. Note that
DDUtil remembers the drive setting and Switch Relay box setting per band so
this is really quite handy.
