Also waiting anxiously for the Flex-1500. My present TMC transmitter
exciter (one-watt!) is AM only and dates from the late 1960s, so I am
looking forward to joining the 21st-century. But, I appeal to Flex
to never, never sacrifice the AM and SSB quality of the great Flex.
For many of us, audio quality--both low distortion and variable
bandwidth options--is an important part of the hobby. I assume that
with the Flex it is based in software and is the same for the 5000,
the 3000, the 1500.
