This QSO was a blast. Texas is off the end of my dipole. I can't use my loop
since the automatic ATU requires 10W to tune DOH!.

The QSB was really bad, but we did successfully make the QSO.

The FLEX-1500 was easy to get up and running. The driver issue install is a
breeze (like there isn't anything to install - it uses the generic Windows USB
audio drivers).

I'll be blogging some on my experiences with the FLEX-1500 starting later this
weekend. I'll send out the URL when I have it up or I just may send out little
blurbs on the reflector.

I do plan to be on the air this weekend on 20m using PSK-31 and I will announce
on the reflectors when I am QRV.
