AH HA! Using a 64-bit OS, I see.

Yes, this is a current issue with 64-bit operating systems and PowerSDR 1.x After installation, PowerSDR saves files into the Program Files sub folders and Micr$oft considers this place hallowed ground and will not let an infidel wave file be placed there.

Vista and Win7 use file system virtualization to "fool" applications into thinking files are where the apps put them when they are not.

Look in:
C:\Users\<your_account>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\FlexRadio Systems\PowerSDR v1.18.5

Thanks to all that responded .
Tim pointed me to the right place in the manual.

My problem now is the files it says it putting in C:\Program
Files(x86)FlexRadio System\PowerSDR v1.18.5\ don't appear to be there.
hey show up when you use the "Add" button in "Wave File Controls."
This is some Windows 7 64 weirdness I am sure.
I'll search for the file with Explorer and find them but its also
showing them locked as well. ( I have show hidden files turned on. )
I am trying to make the files portable by converting them into MP3s
once can get my hands on them.
