There is not a "BCI Rejection" feature on the FLEX-x000 or FLEX-1500 SDRs. This was only specific to the SDR-1000.

Hi Bob, try reducing your preamp gain, all the way to OFF if necessary.
The BCI Rejection button will also reduce gain and help sometimes.

I'm running a SDR-1000 so your mileage may vary with a Flex 5000.

Just got my 5000 and I've been doing a lot of listening. I also enjoy
Broadcast Band DX'ing and I'm noticing that the AM Broadcast band
performance is very poor. Local stations can be heard at many images.
Is this status quo, or is there some mod to improve this? I am not
hearing any AM broadcast stations in the amateur bands (thankfully!)

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
