Ed,
I have found three things helpful when running contest loggers with
PowerSDR..
First... turn off for the duration of the contest disable PowerSDR
keyboard shortcuts Setup>General>Options
Second.. Load and enable HOTWHEEL ...
see
http://kc.flex-radio.com/KnowledgebaseArticle50156.aspx?Keywords=hotwheel
and
http://kc.flex-radio.com/KnowledgebaseArticle50420.aspx?Keywords=hotwheel
and third... Use X-Mouse from within the Tweek UI portion of powertools
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx
(for XP load the Powertools package. It is already in Win 7 somewhere
and enable X-Mouse, I use an activation delay of 200 msec)
With Hotwheel enabled, the mouse wheel retains control of PowersSDR
vfo A frequency regardless of where the Windows focus is.
With X-mouse, the windows focus follows the mouse pointer without the
need to click the mouse..
If you add N1MM to the mix, you can leave the mouse pointer in
PowerSDR to point and click and wheel tune even when N1MM grabs the
focus for keyboard entry.
Your style of operating may be different from mine..

I've been using N1MM log program for the past few years , today
setting up new hard drive I have downloaded the latest version of
N1MM . The problem I'm having , I had before and don't remember what
I did to correct it.
N1MM wants to take focus , When I highlight PSDR and chick the mouse
wheel to change frequency it will only change 2 clicks of the wheel
before the focus go's back to N1MM
Thanks Ed
