Hi Tim,

I didn't mean to tweak you or the group. I've been reading these postings
for probably a year now and I've seen probably dozens of your behests that
comments be placed in the appropriate group. Sorry, I screwed it up on my
first try. The thing is, it didn't cross my mind that I was operating beta
software. I got a new radio, it has software and I commented. Cogito Ergo
Zum. No synapses in my brain made the connection to beta software. I'll
do better next time :-)

I also read the release notes and I didn't make the connection about the
firmware. Take away my Cogito Ergo Zum, I guess. My intention in writing
the note was to point out a situation which probably wasn't common so that
it might float around in the consciousness of those higher beings who
produce this stuff. I'll look forward to the details regarding the firmware
update. I'd like to leave it here with a final thought that I really think
my 1500 is a cool radio, beta software or no. Keep on cranking out the code
and I'll keep loading it.

Best Wishes,

Rick, AA5S
