I have a Flex-3000 currently and love every minute, recently I have been thinking about working VHF the proper way via PowerSDR, and have bought an oldish but working MM 144/28 transverter.
As the 3000 doesn't have a transverter port, I am considering either a 1500 (not that we have any in the UK currently) or a used 1000 I know of one 1000 with the 100W PA, but no 144 IF or tuner. I am assuming the transverter ports are available to use on the 1000. Does anyone here operate a 1000 and a 3 or 5000 on the same PC, not necessarily at the same time.
