Received my Flex 1500 Monday-wow so far for the most part impressed.
The prwer out meter seemed a little stingey so I put it into my HP 8920
serveic monitor and read at least 5+ watts on all HF bands in ssb yet
the meter in the program has never shown more than 2
watts and usually 1.5 or so. Is there a calibration to get the meter to
read correctly?
More troubling is that the HP shows no output on 6M in either ssb or FM
yet I can hear it so the out put must be very low.
I don't think there was a flaw in my test procedure as a friend brought
over his 1500 and using the same computer we did the same tests on his
and all readings were within 1 watt or less except
on 6M he had 6 Watts I had zero.
Any thoughts on this?
