Hi, Just purchased the Yamaha CM-500 headset to be used with my Flex 5000A.
The headphone portion works fine. I can't seem to get the mic to produce any audio. I noticed that the grey mic connector is a stereo type with tip, ring and sleeve. Does this need to be changed to a tip and sleeve before feeding it to the yeasu pig tail connected to the Flex front panel mic connector.
I also have a Heil headset and it works fine...the only difference seems to be the connector.
