I asked this question before with no responses so I thought I would try one more time. I tried to use my Flex 5000 remotely and found that I would lose first character if I used CWX function buttons to send stored messages. Keying the PTT, sending and deactivating PTT worked fine. I also tried different PTT delays but that did not seem to work consistently.
