Rick,
I have cable, but as I said, it does not seem to affect the other plasma
TV. It is likely a Pioneer problem- I have an email to them asking
about a way to stop the RF interferrence.
I will take your suggestion and disconnect everything and see what
happens with the TV running but no input.

except the power cord, turn the display on, and then see what the noise
sounds like? Before you can attempt to fix the problem, it would be helpful
to figure out how it's getting from the display to your radio.
In my case, I have a Panasonic plasma display that's less than a year old.
My 75M antenna is directly beneath my TV antenna (I watch free over-the-air
TV). I can run a KW into the 75M antenna and it doesn't bother the plasma.
Likewise, I don't hear any noise on the Flex with the plasma display on. I
run RG11 from the TV antenna to the plasma, and have a high pass filter in
line with the TV antenna. I also have a distribution amp connected to the
TV antenna after the HPF.
Based on some of the other posts, it seems that Pioneer plasma displays may
be particularly noisy. However I would not be so quick as others to knock
all plasma displays based on the experience with the Pioneer displays.

Anyone got any good ideas about how to stop RF noise from coming from a
plasma TV- seems worst on 75 meter band.
I have two plasma TVs, and one gives out no noise, but the other one
causes substantial RF noise. The one that causes the noise is a
Pioneer with the TV operated by a separate controller box. I have put
ferrite chokes all over the place, but still the noise.
Getting rid of the TV is not an option, and telling my wife to turn it
off does not go over real well.
