Hi Mike,

I also have the 3DConnextions Space Navigator in use with a MacBook Pro laptop
& running Win7 64 bit under bootcamp successfully with a Flex 5000a.

There is only frequency shifting available currently, as far as I can tell.
This probably the poorest documented feature of PowerSDR software. I have
found nothing in the knowledge base and very little in the reflectors regarding
use of this peripheral device.

I use both the Space Navigator and the Griffin Powermate at the same time. The
Space Navigator always controls the frequency (twist for slow QSY and tilt for
FAST QSY) regardless of window focus. The Powermate only shifts frequency when
focus is on Power SRD's window.

The combination of the two is nice because you can set the Powermate's
frequency stepping to nice chunks (i.e. 100 Hz/step) and use the Space
Navigator for 1 Hz resolution sliding around the band display.

I wish there was more information available to expand the utility of the Space
Navigator (six axis programming options), but mum is the word so far on deeper
support for this cool device. I use the big heavy and cheaper desktop version
of Space Navigator.

Enjoy and 73,

Paul WN7T
