Hello Scott,

Is whatever you are plugging into the headphone jack *completely* isolated from ground? The shield on the headphone jack is not at ground potential and should not be connected to ground. Did you try plugging in a stand-alone pair of headphones?

Just received my new 5000a and smiling ear to ear..no glitches setting up
and getting it running (PSDR V 2.016, Win 7 64 home premium).

BUT no sound out of the headphone jack except rhythmic, LOUD clicking. Mixer
was checked for headphones and powered speakers. I've tried two sets of
headphones. Volume makes no difference on intensity of the clicking.

Any thoughts or suggestions??
