If so try turning it on. -Tim -----Original Message----- From: flexradio-boun...@flex-radio.biz [mailto:flexradio-boun...@flex-radio.biz] On Behalf Of John Swink Sent: Sunday, February 20, 2011 5:02 PM To: Flexradio Reflector Subject: [Flexradio] PowerSDR v2.0.19 RC1 I have been running PowerSDR v2.0.19 on my F5000A with the V/U module and a i7 CPU running 64 bit Win 7 for the past two days. The NR & ANF functions seem to be working much better and the problem I had experienced with the squelch on Rx2 when swapping VFO A & B also seems to have been resolved. However, I have encountered the following anomaly that was not apparent with PSDR v2.0.16: When operating with the panadapter on both Rx1 & Rx2, if you click on a signal and drag it into the filter area, the motion is smooth in v2.0.16. In v2.0.19 the motion is jerky and difficult to control in some circumstances. The following table illustrates my observations: Rx1 Rx2 2m, jerky 70cm, jerky 2m, smooth 6m, smooth 2m, smooth 40m, smooth 70cm, jerky 2m, jerky 6m, jerky 2m, jerky 40m, jerky 2m, jerky 70cm, smooth 6m, smooth 70cm, smooth 40m, smooth 6m, jerky 70cm, smooth 40m, jerky 70cm, smooth 40m, smooth 6m, smooth 40m, smooth 80m, smooth 80m, smooth 40m, smooth 6m, smooth 40m, smooth Since the operation was smooth when both receivers were tuned to any HF or 6m band, I suspect the problem is connected with the V/U module. Has anyone else experienced this anomaly and how did you resolve it? I am also still experiencing problems with loss of signal on Rx2 when an HF band on Rx1 is connected to Ant1 and Rx2 is tuned to 2m or 70cm or the reverse. I suspect this update did not address the antenna matrix problem. In spite of these glitches, I think the Flex 5000 & PowerSDR is still the best system on the market. 73, John, N8WNA _______________________________________________ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flexradio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flexradio.com/ _______________________________________________ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flexradio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flexradio.com/
