Edwin,
This last weekend I played around in the DX contest with The SDR-1000....

First I ran with RC1 and had four RX hangups in just over an hour of operation ( recovered by changing RX buffer size )... Then I ran just over three hours with 1.18.6 and had ZERO hangups... ( so my original suppositions that It was a relay hanging, appear to be incorrect. )

Message-ID: <4d6fe92b.8000...@yahoo.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed Edwin, I too have noticed that the SDR-1000 will go dead on RX following a transmission from time to time ( CW as well at SSB ) I had always thought this was a hanging relay since keying the radio again usually restores operation. But I can not discount that may a software problem.. The SDR-1000 has no firmware... AL, K0VM

affect the SDR-1000? The reason I ask is that sometimes after I unkey from a voice
transmission on SSB the receiver goes silent and I have to restart the software to
get it up and running again. This does not happen with versions up to 1.18.6. I
would estimate that it happens in about 1 in 20 transmissions. I'm wondering if
any others from the dwindling pool of SDR-1000 users have experienced the same
phenomina. I don't believe the firmware of the SDR1000 can be changed by PowerSDR
2.0.19 RC1 so perhaps something else is causing this?
