Yes, Bill, this is something that I've observed ever since the 3000 arrived to keep the 5000A from getting lonesome. And the fact that the two radios are governed by two very different computers and versions of windows led me to conclude that your comments are absolutely correct!

The question here is the extent to which this issue can be blamed on the
release candidate versus some combination of characteristics in the whole
hardware chain.  The number of these kinds of complaints seems to be
vanishingly small (hmmmm...that comment may bring others out of the
woodwork, we'll see). I suspect that part of the reality of SDR-world will
always be a certain number of "it doesn't work on my machine" complaints
that can never be eradicated by any vendor.  We may all just have to learn
to live with that.

That being said, there is scarcely anything more maddening than being the
guy who has troubles and can't figure out why next to no one else is having them. "Everyone is out of step but me, Sarge" is never a comfortable place
to be.
