As far as I know, it ask the question if you want to run VSPMgr. when you install DDUtil. Hate to state the obvious but even if you install it during the DDUtil install, you still have to run it and set up the comm ports!

I think it deposits the VSPMgr install program in the DDUtil folder but you
might be better off asking on the DDUtil reflector for that kind of
assistance!

I thought I read somewhere that: a) VspMgr was currently the preferred
virtual COM port program and b) it was now included in DDUTil.

I finally got around to installing third-party software yesterday.
VACv4.09 went smoothly. (I'm copying digital modes on DM780 very well,
thank you.) DDUtil installed, but went to a fatal error: no COM ports on
this computer when I tried to run it. Same error, over and over.

There was no indication that VSPMgr attempted to load or was even included
in the DDUtil download.

Win7/64 on an HP Pavilion a4326f-Athlon4core
DDUtil v2.0.1.43

Which obvious instruction am I missing this time?

I am sure that the last time I updated DDUtil (to 2.0.1.43) there was a
question whether I wanted to install VSPMgr as well. I had it installed
already, so I said No. This is on Win7/32; is it possible that VSPMgr
doesn't work on 64-bit Win7?
