Hi all: I've been extremely busy working on business projects, so I haven't had time to continue my work on transforming the ShuttlePRO v2 into an awesome controller for a FlexRadio device.
My software (called "ShuttleKraft") basically makes the ShuttlePRO v2 into a dedicated controller for operating a flex-radio via PowerSDR. That means 15 programmable buttons (functioning as toggle on/off, bump up/down values, mode switching, etc) as well as jog/shuttle knobs (which, together, give you ultimate flexibility in vfo tuning). The software talks to PowerSDR using CAT commands, so basically anything that be "CAT-tized" (translated into a CAT command), can be performed by the ShuttlePRO v2. No worrying about having focus on the PowerSDR windows, because the controller is dedicated to it. I've been able to allot time to the project again and will be seeking candidates for "alpha stage testing" of my software. Alpha stage means that the software is past my in-lab experimenting and is ready to be tried by knowledgeable folks for feedback purposes. Alpha is a pre-cursor to a Beta stage. Thus, installation of the software shall be manual, the UI will be a rough prototype, and the software could be unstable on your system. Apart from the limitations described above, the software is fully functional and works really terrifically.
