=========== Stan, my 1500 is back at Flex now for that exact symptom. Go to Setup>Tests and try the audio balance test. If you just hear static in each ear instead of a nice tone, you might well have what I had. BTW, Flex is kinda behind on repairs; I sent mine to them on June 8 -- no word so far.
