I'm sure this has been posted and answered a gazillion times, I have
searched and found nothing that addresses my question.
I'm a new user of the 5000A, I have a Heil Proset with the Yaesu adapter
cable and a Heil footswitch.
I was originally told by folks in the Flex booth at Dayton that the mic
connector is 100% Yaesu pin to pin. That appears to not be the case. Maybe
just the connector itself is the same...
Looking carefully at the pin outs of an FT-1000MP and the Flex shows they
are not pin to pin. My foot switch will not key the 5000A. If I manually
short Pins 5 and 6 the front connector, it keys up.
So, What adapter cable can I use from Heil? Nothing on the Heil website. Am
I on my own?
