So today I uninstalled VAC, rebooted and reinstalled it. Strangly I did not have to put my settings back in op VAC.
Then I uninstalled PSDR and the Firewire driver and reinstalled those with a fresh download from the Flex site. I also removed a lot of old Flex files and directories. After PSDR reinstalled all of the settings were already in it as were the memories. I thought that an uninstall would have removed those. Why would I not have to reinput my settings? However Skimmer is still showing the same be havior and the only other thing that I can see to do is a rebuild which I am trying to av oid. Where I work I have 300 PCs and there are always some that need to be rebuilt be me at any given time. So a rebuild is so me thing I really don't enjoy. Not sure if I do want to rebuild it since there a two others on the list with the same problem as me Oh and Skimmer is the current version, 1.71. I had upgraded it from 1.7 when the trouble first started thinking that that might have been the cause.
