When your avocation and vocation are one in the same, Neal needs to go off
into a different direction, if for no other reason than to charge his
batteries. Burning the candle at both ends makes it last half as long.

I think he wants to be out of touch, as what ham has not heard of a
generator. I live in a coastal mountain range where a generator wired into
the entire house is standard issue, along with rain gear and a chainsaw.
