I must just be getting old because all these several letter descriptions of
devices just leave me in the dark.
What in the heck are we writing about. Not everyone knows the meaning of
these abreviations of devices.

I'm looking at replacing an FT-736 used occasionally for satellite work.
I'd like to have the best of both worlds and replace it with a software
defined radio. What are your general experiences working satellites with
the 5K? I'm interested from both a hardware (the VU5K module) and a
software perspective. Are there 3rd party software add-ons that you feel

a "must have" ?
