I’m sure I’m not the only person who is somewhat confused about the
implementation (and configuration) of VAC2 with RX2. I plan on waiting a
few days before upgrading so I can digest all the feedback. For now, I have
these questions:
Ø Do I need to install the VAC software a second time?
No. You will however need to define two additional VAC cables in the
VAC Control panel and use the cable settings recommended in the Release
Notes.
Ø Has anyone written any instructions on how VAC is added to an
existing installation?
Nope. But it is easy as you just need to add two more cables as
described above.
Ø Regarding the “WDM-KS” drivers, does the need to use this new driver
apply to both Windows XP and Windows 7?
No, it is included with Windows.
I apologize for all the questions, but I’m a believer that the only stupid
questions are those we don’t ask.
No apology is necessary. You are right that only stupid questions are
those we don’t ask.
