It happened with my 1500, but when I connected a 3000 using the same
computer and version of PSDR, it did not happen. At the time (about a
year ago) Flex said to send the 1500 to them and they'd look into it.
However, they were unable to replicate the problem and sent it back to
me.

Al's tests with various USB connections and different operating
systems seem to shed some light on it. It's particularly interesting
that he observes that the behavior is different for different USB
hubs. Perhaps from that one might conclude that it's in the driver
software.

We may hope that someone could track this down; I have a number of
audio interfaces that use USB and do not have any similar problem, so
it's not an inherently insoluble USB issue.
