I had a similar RF problem with a Heil headset mic. The RF came back at me
through both the speakers and the headphones. Since this was the only RFI I've
ever seen in my shack, I used a good ol' Mix 31 split ferrite and wound the
mic cord through it several times, as was already recommended. Since the
ferrite is heavy, and the mic cable is very puny, I also put the Heil mic
adapter cable through it for both support and additional RF suppression. It
worked fine. Jim KJ2P
