The raw processing power at those respective price points is absolutely 
astounding. A game changer indeed. It is so much of a game changer that I 
suspect there will be a very large percentage of hams today who won't be able 
to figure out what the game even is anymore.

Add up top two transceivers of ALL other ham transceiver manufacturers.  It
does not equal the raw processing power in the 6500 and the 6700 is...
