It can also be a bad Firewire cable. You may think that's unlikely but I had one and haven't had a single problem since replacing it a couple of months ago. It failed suddenly after a month or more of successful use. Doubting that could have been the problem, I replaced everything else first, I.E.: Firewire card, played musical PCI slots to find one that didn't share interrupts, reinstalled Power SDR, all to no avail. As a last resort I replaced the cable, BINGO!!

Nick,If it 'only' happens when you start the Flex, that points to the Firewire
card. Is this a new condition, or was the Flex running OK on this computer

started: Did you just make a change, like disconnecting all the cables and
re-connecting them? Did you open the computer and change anything inside?
If the Flex never ran on this computer before, and all other programs run just
fine, verify that your Firewire card is installed correctly; that is, it is
inserted all the way, and evenly, in the PCI or PCIe slot. If so, then verify
that your Firewire card is one of the recommended cards on the Flex site. If
so, the card may be conflicting with another piece of hardware: remove it, and
move it to another slot. You might also try another Firewire card. Do you
maintain your hard drive regularly, like running chkdsk for error checking and
defrag? It would be unusual only one prog
ram would Blue Screen if your disk has errors, but it could happen. If you're
lost, you could also contact Neil Campbell at abrohamnealsoftware.com to get a
