Thanks for letting me know. Well, I'm seeing the old legacy driver in
device manager!! How are you starting the Flex firewire control panel? I
don't have an icon in the start menu. Meanwhile, I'll have to look at
getting firewire 4.0.0 installed. Thanks!!

In addition, Dudley at Flex, emailed me and confirmed that, indeed, I do have
the up to date driver.
I have installed an update before (a while back) and I always think the process
of when to turn the radio back on is vague. I wish they would make it clearer
but, hey, the hardware and software is sure darn good.
My next step is to do the update on my MacBook Pro running boot camp with XP,
SP3.
