I have had my Flex-5000A for a bit more than a month, and have not been active for decades. Got my A-license back in the sixties but was active while I was in the army and had access to the stuff I needed. Now I am retiring, and I am happy to be back, slowly picking up CW, which was my favorite.
Digital modes are new to me, and I have the following software on a PC dedicated to my radio: Latest version of PowerSDR DDUtil VAC VSPManager MixW HRD and DM 780 CW-Skimmer Logic9 All these things play nice together. Took some time to make it work, but the main problem was that I used too low speed on the com ports. Now I want to use JT65-HF, but cannot make PTT work. I can receive, using HRD as a helper (don't know why, but if I don't start HRD I will not see the frequency in JT65-HF), but even if I choose a free com port for PTT, I cannot key the radio. I have no problems keying the radio from DM 780, but so far there is no support for JT65. Have someone made this work and can give me some advice?
