I recently purchased a FlexControl. I have been using PowerSDR ver 2.4.4 with a Flex 5000A for a few weeks and with previous versions of PowerSDR for a few years. I have Windows 7 Professional 64 bit OS on the computer.
I can't seem to get FlexControl to work. Windows sees it as an "Unknown Device" under COM and LPT ports in the device manager. It shows that the driver is version 1.4.0.0 from FlexRadio Systems. When I try to reinstall the driver, Windows tells me that the FlexControl USB knob driver is already installed. I tried re-installing PowerSDR 2.4.4 on top of the existing PowerSDR but I have the same problem. Do I need to uninstall and reinstall PowerSDR to make this work? Thank you and 73.
