All, In talking with Dudley, I have been told that the vintage Yeasu md1-c8 desk microphones are not completely compatiable with the front connector on the Flex 5000a. As it was mentioned that some Flex users have got this microphone to work with the Flex. I would like to know what pin-out changes were done. If you want to contact me offline or send me something outlining what needs to be done, I would appreciate. I am trying to eliminate RF ingress issues and am starting with the microphone wiring.
I would like to use my radio on bands besides 80 meters.
