Here's a nice little isolation transformer I've used a bit. They're easy to
solder down to a perf-board. Only 4 pins are wired, but the other pins lend
to mechanical stability. The price is good and they're handy to just have
around for general use.

I have the headphone jack of my 1500 connected direct to my PC's line in. I
know this is not an ideal situation because of the potential ground loop. I
like to do things right and put some kind of isolation in the line. Radio
Shack used to sell a small transformer that was perfect for this but I can't
find them anymore. Anyone got an idea for a sub?
Maybe some type of opto circuit might be the way to go. I don't need
something pre-made, homebrew is fine.
Thanks,
Michael, W4HIJ
