Noticing some inconsistent behavior with my 5K. I've recently been running a lot of 75m AM. I created a profile, so the transmit settings are consistent. To achieve 25W of carrier, I normally have the drive set to 70. During this time, it's easy to achieve more than 25W, and on peaks it will easily exceed the 100W rating. Occasionally, I have to increase the drive to 100 to achieve the same 25W, and according to the Flex's meter, it's only peaking about 80W
If I reboot both the Flex and the PC, I can usually get it back to the "normal" operation. I also found that if I tune the radio at 3.875 it more often than not goes into this lower output state. If I tune at 3.885 it more often than not works fine. Checked the SWR with my MFJ analyzer and found virtually no difference between the two frequencies. Since I've owned it, Flex has had the radio two times to realign the bridge. Anyone else experiencing what resembles inconsistent power? BTW, I'm only seeing this on 75M.
