Am I missing something ? I thought that when you installed a new PowerSDR release that it doesn’t touch the previous version? If that is that case there is nothing to be lost by “trying” the new version. If it is not to your liking you just go back to using the previously installed version of PowerSDR. I guess that the only caveat is that you can’t undo a firmware update to the rig, which I believe that this new version of PowerSDR applies. I believe that the firmware is backward compatible with a previous version of PowerSDR.
